Member Code of Conduct and Other Rules

  1. All players should enter the courts at the same time during the change over to minimize disruptions to others. Carefully close the entry gate upon entering the tennis courts.
  2. While a game is in progress, no one other than the players is permitted inside the fenced tennis courts.
  3. Children and pets must not enter the playing area and must not be left unattended or be disruptive to tennis players. Pets may not be tied to the club fence or property.
  4. At no time should children (under 12) be left unattended in the clubhouse.
  5. Shirts must be worn at all times. Appropriate non-marking sports shoes are mandatory.
  6. Except for lessons conducted by the club pros, ball hoppers are not allowed on the courts from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week except in the courts with divider(s) as long as the court is booked for and used by 2 or more players. Refrain from using ball hoppers on the courts without divider(s) when others are playing on an adjacent court.
  7. Crossing the courts should not distract the players in any way and is only allowed at an appropriate break in play. Please walk as fast as possible close to the fence behind.
  8. To retrieve a ball from another court, wait until the point is finished on that court before requesting returning the ball. Return balls to other courts as soon as possible during a break in play and direct the balls to the rear of the court unless otherwise suggested.
  9. Please keep conversations and cell phone ringers at low volume inside the club or on the deck. On-court conversations and emotional outbursts should be kept to a minimum. Shouting, swearing, heckling.. any disruptive and aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
  10. To ensure fair play and equal access to our tennis facilities, it is essential to follow the guidelines of the Online Booking System. Any misuse resulting in personal advantage or unfair access to the courts will be monitored closely. Our club attendants and officials are dedicated to enforcing these rules and will issue warnings for any violations. If issues persist after a written warning, we will regrettably suspend the offending member’s booking privileges for seven days. Continued violations may lead to a cancellation of membership.
Furthermore, to discourage no-show reservations or any form of court booking abuse, we will implement monetary penalties. We encourage all members to review the online court booking rules for complete details. Let’s work together to keep our tennis community fair and enjoyable for everyone!
