Men: Thursdays at 7 pm – 8:30 pm, 8:30 pm – 10 pm Mixed: Fridays at 7 pm – 8:30 pm, 8:30 pm – 10 pm
How will it work?
– **1st Session:** 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM – Participants must register online under Calendar Sign-Ups on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Online registration opens at 9:00 AM, six days prior to the event.
– **2nd Session:** 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM – This session operates on a “first-come, first-served” drop-in basis for both Men’s and Mixed Round Robins. While you must sign in for the first session, the second session allows for a more flexible and spontaneous playing experience without prior registration.
Each session consists of three 30-minute rounds, totaling 90 minutes of playtime. Additionally, participation in these sessions does not count towards your three booking limit.
Details are:
- Register for the Round Robin session, starting either at 7:00 p.m. or drop-in for the 8:30 p.m. session.
- The First Session starts at 7:00 p.m.
- Players from the First Session may play additional rounds in the Second Session (8:30 – 10:00 p.m.), if there is availability.
- If a player is late and a spare is found, he/she will play for the full 30 minutes, as a token of appreciation. The player who was late, will sit until the next round.
- The moment the spare steps onto the court, he/she will have the right to play the round for a full 30 minute.
- If a player is late for more than 30 minutes, he/she will lose two rounds.
- The court attendant will ring the bell at the end of each round for the last point to be played.
- At the end of each round, players who win move toward court 1 and split partners, players who lose move towards court 8 and split partners.
- At the end of the third round, players must inform the court attendant of the court number where they finished, so they can start in the same court the following week.
- Two no shows will cause losing privileges to reserve a spot in the round robin for two weeks.
- Players from the Lakeshore and Intercounty leagues who have not participated in any round robin matches during the season may be placed on courts 1 to 3, the first time they join the round robin.
- Tennis courts will be available for members to book when there are four or more open spots in the round robin. We kindly ask that members who reserve these courts during that time actively participate and join in the fun by rotating with the round robin players. Your participation helps create a lively and engaging atmosphere for everyone!
